Game Rules
 
Viva Veggie is a strategy game involving growing and managing multiple vegetable crops within a 12 month seasonal cycle.  The game lasts twenty years in total before your time is up. Your challenge is to accumulate as many credits and achievements as possible.
 
How successful you are depends on what type of gardener you turn out to be. High risk taker, cautious player, or a bit of both to mix it up.  Get to "Know" your seasons. Once you have figured this out, you will reap great rewards.
 
You can also concentrate on growing one or two types of Veggie to open up the locked achievements.  Be warned, though - this needs extra attention and skill.
 
Tip: There's a reason why the game always begins in May.

Playing the game

 

When you start a new game, you are awarded 300 credits.  You will have a choice of purchasing any of the different types of vegetable seeds available to you. We would suggest you choose "Mooli" first.
 
When you start earning more credits, more vegetable types will become available.  Each time you purchase seeds, you must also purchase earth and a trough to plant the seeds in.  Once you have made your purchase/s, you can then start the game.
 
The game countdown will pause when you navigate in the menu screens but will continue to count down once back in the main game menu.
 
When your vegetables are ready to yield, there will be an alarm sound and a pitchfork will appear on the screen. Simply press the pitchfork to yield your crop.
